LOCATION

The neighborhood formerly known as Palermo Viejo has been informally renamed Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood. Home Hotel, the first boutique hotel in this area is located in the latter. Owing its name to the many TV and radio stations, film studios and the high count of local celebs, Palermo Hollywood still retains a “barrio” feel, mixing the old and the new, the traditional with the cutting edge. This vibrant area is best known as the city´s gastronomic hub with some of Buenos Aires best restaurants including La Mar, Las Flores, Mercado de Liniers, Crizia and much more. Within easy reach of the city centre and all its tourist attractions, but far away from the fumes, noise and general city mayhem.

GREEN HOME

As the first boutique hotel in Buenos Aires to incorporate a ‘green side’ to running our business, we are committed to lessen the impact we have on the environment. Some of our actions include:

• Large reusable pump dispensers for toiletries to reduce unnecessary disposal of plastic.
• Commitment to achieve 100% free of single use plastic by the end of 2023.
• Individually controlled gas central heating and air conditioning, 100% Led lighting to increase energy efficiency.
• Electricity cards which turn off the power when your room is empty, and motion sensors in the common areas so that the lights will never be on when nobody’s Home.
• Partnership with ElCeibo, a recycling community organization
• Partnering with community based company Eco Volta for disposal of batteries.
• Donating towels, sheets and slippers to charity organizations working with children and the elderly.
